Version: 1.0 Last updated:

Welcome to AHV ĐTLX – Dạy Lái Xe (the “App”), provided by AHV HOLDING INVESTMENT JOINT STOCK COMPANY (“AHV”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

This service is provided at no cost and is intended for use as is. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the App to manage learners, create schedules and courses, and track training progress.

BY USING THE APP, YOU CONFIRM THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREED TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. DATA WE COLLECT

We collect the minimum information necessary to operate the App’s core features. We do not require users to register before downloading the App, and we do not track visits beyond what is necessary to provide the Service.

1.1. Information you or your school provide

  • Account & profile data: name, role (learner/instructor/admin), phone number, email, and training center details.
  • Learner records: license category, class enrollments, attendance, assessment results, lesson progress notes, and course completion status.
  • Scheduling data: class and lesson schedules, instructor assignments, locations, and calendar information.
  • Support communications: messages you send to us for help, bug reports, or feedback.

1.2. Information collected automatically

To help run and improve the App, we may collect certain device and network data, such as language, time zone, page views, app version, device model, OS version, and network status (e.g., Wi‑Fi).

1.3. No server storage of sensitive PII by default

We design the App to minimize the collection of Personally Identifiable Information (PII). Where PII is processed (e.g., learner names and schedules), it is used solely to provide the App’s features. We strive to pseudonymize or anonymize data whenever feasible.

2. PERMISSIONS ON YOUR DEVICE

Some device permissions are needed for full functionality. If you deny a permission, certain features may not work as intended.

  • Lets the App read images you select (e.g., for profile or assignment uploads).
  • Lets the App access only the images you explicitly choose.
  • Allows reading/saving files to your device.
  • Enables important notifications (e.g., schedule alerts) to appear on the lock screen.

3. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

We may use third-party SDKs to deliver features such as analytics, crash reporting, and (if enabled) advertising. These providers may collect data to identify your device and understand usage. Their data practices are governed by their own privacy policies. We do not control these third parties.

3.1. Advertising (if enabled)

We may use your Android Advertising ID for personalized or contextual ads. You can reset or limit ad personalization in your device settings.

3.2. Analytics & attribution

Analytics tools help us understand usage and improve reliability. These tools do not collect PII that directly identifies you.

4. COOKIES

The App does not explicitly use cookies. However, third-party services integrated into the App may use cookies or similar technologies to improve their services. You can refuse cookies in your browser or device settings, but some features may not function properly without them.

5. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

  • To provide and maintain core features (learner management, scheduling, course creation, progress tracking).
  • To send important notices (e.g., schedule changes, reminders, and service updates).
  • To monitor performance, fix bugs, and enhance reliability and security.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

6. SHARING & DISCLOSURE

We may share information with:

  • Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and property.

We do not sell your personal information.

7. SECURITY

We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access.

8. DATA RETENTION

We retain information only for as long as necessary to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes. When no longer needed, we take steps to delete or anonymize the data.

9. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that such information has been collected, we will delete it promptly. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us personal information, please contact us.

10. YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Withdraw consent at any time.
  • Request access to and a copy of your data.
  • Request correction or deletion (“right to be forgotten”).
  • Restrict or object to processing.
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

11. CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you may have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, or “sell”.
  • Request deletion of your personal information.
  • Opt-out of sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.

12. EU/EEA PRIVACY RIGHTS (GDPR)

If you are in the EU/EEA, our legal bases for processing may include consent, contract performance, legitimate interests, and legal obligations. You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, and data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time.
